Foodstuffs

The last few months I"ve been reaaly working on eating - everything from blueberries and raspberries (tart!) to chinese food and breakfast tacos...give it to me I'm a hungry girl!

Carrots

This morning Mom fed me some carrots and I ate them all up! Sometimes she just isn't fast enough and I have to take the process into my own hands. Watch out for flying food! -jm

6 months' birthday!

Yesterday was my six-months' birthday, and mom and dad took me to this really neat place called Hamilton's Pool, just south of Austin. There were lots of people and babies there, and the water felt so nice because it was hot outside. The waterfall held my attention; they tell me that it's bigger than normal because of all the rain we've been having this summer. I swam twice and everyone was impressed with my splashing skills! I am six months old now, after all. -jm

Bathtime!

Yay for baths! I love the water and I really like my flashing ducks... you should see them in action. They are activated when they touch the water - just like me! Mom & Dad usually give me only one duck at a time, but having three or even four in the tub at once is when things get exciting.

A little bird told me that I'm turning six-months old on Saturday. Not sure what that means exactly, but I hope bananas are involved! -jm

This week has been great! I'm getting spoiled by Grandma & Grandpa and have been swimming, shopping, and jumping all day. They're also very good at stuffing me full of bananas and rice cereal! -jm

Swimming!

Today we're going swimming at the pool near Aunt Camille's house. I'm so excited. I have a really cute swimsuit with stripes of all colors and some sunglasses to match. This is a picture of me swimming in Louisiana over Memorial day... I'm bigger now an really know how to splash and kick! -jm

Hi all-
I'm new to this so forgive my spelling. Here is a picture from earlier this month: You gotta love that chew-toy; man, am I teething! Today I learned to hold my stuffed elephant between my feet so that I can really explore it with my hands. Mom & Dad are taking me out to dinner at some Chinese restaurant. I hope they let me sample that tiger-sauce! Ok, time to eat. I'll write more soon! -jm
