Family Snapshot

Too cute not to publish... -cs

The Entertainer

You can almost see the internal monologue Ben's producing: "Ohmygoodness, my sister is so silly. She really is so funny! Ack! That's ridiculous! Ack! She did it again! Oh my, that's funny! Ack! Stop, stop! It's too much! Too much! Ack!" I love to entertain! -jm

Mr. Risky Business

Last weekend we played dress-up: I wore my Belle dress and Ben scooted around in his socks, diaper, and t-shirt. I guess at least I was dressed-up! Ben is almost walking and has even taken a few single steps, which is very exciting! Yay for Ben! -jm

Pass the Peas, Please

I'm just fooling you if you think I don't like peas. Not only do they go down well, but they stick to practically everything. I'm perfecting my pea-flinging and pea-slinging skills (they go further if you use a spoon). More, please! -b

Happy Halloween!

Well, I tried to wear my chicken costume, and Josephine did her best to encourage me in the morning, but it was just plain too hot.  Josephine enjoyed being Rapunzel, and I got into spirit with something you just can't fake - vampire teeth!  Check 'em out! -b

Sweet Corn

This is my first post so I thought I'd start with something easy: I like sweet corn. It feels great on my teeth - all four of them! -b

Dancing with the Trike

Mom found her old blue trike for me to play with at the farm. I'm a little too big for it, but I needed to spend some time outside when it wasn't raining. Grandma bought me these pretty ruby slippers and I had fun showing them - and my dress - off to my audience. -jm

Fishing

When we were in South Dakota, we went fishing in the boat on Cottonwood Lake. It was a little chilly, but at least I was able to borrow Great-Grandpa's awesome hat! (We didn't catch anything, though!) -jm

Almost Crawling

Ben is now 7 months old and he is SO CLOSE to crawling that I can't stand it. Really. He's going to start taking all my things and reorganizing them. It will make it difficult to keep track of my toys, books, and crayons, let alone my movies! Sigh. Why do little babies grow so quickly?
