Catch Me If You Can!

I am hard to keep up with now that I am walking! I can even climb up and down stairs, and mom lets me play in the puddles and chase the cat. My pink shoes are pretty cool and help to protect my feet from scuffs and scrapes and splinters outside. I love the garden! -jm

Mom and Dad say that I am an angel when I'm sleeping. From this picture, you would never know that I am a great dancer and an even better pillager! -jm

Peanut Butter Face

I really like peanut butter! It's sticky and sweet and ensures bathtime shortly after. -jm

(Birthday) Cupcakes!

Mom didn't know what she was doing when she sent cupcakes with me to Samantha's house. The frosting was AMAZING. I will have green cheeks for the rest of the week! MMMM -jm

Super Mardi Josie Bowl Fina Gras!

Yay for my bithday! I'm 1 year old and am now big enough to eat crawfish and cake. I also have my very own Wilson (Aunt Camille has the original, but mine's just as good)! It was such a nice day for a party; lots of people came and celebrated the first ever Super Mardi Josie Bowl Fina Gras.

Mount Bonnell

A couple weeks ago, when grandma and grandpa were in town, we all went up to Mount Bonnell to check out the views over Austin. It was a little windy, but it was nice enough to take off my socks! If you come to visit, I'll take you up there to see the sights! -jm

Hiatus

Dear devoted fans, I apologize for not posting anything recently. You know how it goes, you get into the holidays in mid-November, and you don't come out until after Mardi Gras...
So, I've been busy. I'm walking: 8 steps in a row without falling over! Talking: banana, mama, dada, uh-oh, dog, meow, wow, socks, cock-a-doodle-do, and hi. And I REALLY love to sort through and unpack cupboards, bookshelves, movie-baskets, the mail, laundry, and drawers. Mom and Dad both read me the Berenstien Bears "Messy Room" book fairly often and for no particular reason.
I turn one in 2 weeks exactly (on Lundi Gras). I've heard we're going to have a crawfish boil and there was something about a pinata, but I don't really know what that entails!
