Sleeping Ben

Ben looks so sweet when he's sleeping. It's hard to resist waking him up, but Mama scolds me if I do. Ben is about two months old in these pictures. Sleepy Ben! -jm

Kite Festival

Earlier this spring, we all went to the Austin Kite Festival in Zilker Park. It was awesome to see all those pretty kites flying around: elephant kites, superhero kites, octopus kites, rainbow-colored kites, swirling kites. Just thought I'd share. -jm

She's so Silly!

My sister makes me laugh! She doesn't even have to say anything; her silly faces and gestures make me smile and squeal with excitement. The best part is that she knows I like it when she hams it up. -bhm

Milk on the Rocks

Ben is growing a lot these days and barely fits into his fuzzi bunz! He thinks I'm crazy and laughs when I make silly noises! -jm

Summertime Is Upon Us!

This weekend showed the first real signs of summer. Mom let me put my swimsuit on and Dad let me fill up the pool with cold water. It was refreshing! Too bad my baby brother doesn't like it when I splash him! -jm

Smiley Ben

Although he's been smiling for weeks, lately, Ben is one smiley baby. Even I can get Ben to smile when I make silly noises, but Mom's still his favorite. Sometimes Ben smiles when Jessy licks his hands and toes! Mom tells Jessy, "No," but Jessy is just curious and Ben doesn't seem to mind - unless he gets a big, wet, doggie kiss across the face! -jm

The Beach

We went to the beach last weekend for Spring Break and it was great. We found tons of shells and played in the waves, learned to avoid jellyfish and generally had fun. It was a bit windy, though. -jm
