Spring Updates

The pics above span the gamut of our springtime activities (it was 97 the other day, so I guess it's still considered spring?).  I've entered the time of sleepovers.  Tavi has stayed with us once and I've stayed at his house once.  We have lots of fun and pillow-fights.

Ben is getting bigger and has lots of teeth!  He is like a piranha with those things.  Ben likes rides in the wagon and yells at you when you stop pulling.  Ben went to the Astros game on a boys-trip with dad a couple weeks ago, too.

Ben and I like to chase each other (he's getting fast) and have played in the pool a couple times (it's funny splashing my brother).  I still get some alone-time reading my books, but it's hard to come by with a sneaky, silly baby like Ben running all over the place!  -jm

The Cake of All Cakes

I helped Mom make this cake for Daddy's birthday - we added chocolate, coffee, butter and espresso to make it really delicious. I put all the strawberries on top and assisted Mom with the frosting. Yum! -jm

Granny Glasses

Mom put her ridiculously large glasses on Ben, and he thought it was hilarious. They make his eyes look really big like bug-eyes. -jm

Birthday Girl!

I made out like a bandit for my fourth birthday this year. I opened presents four separate times and had three birthday parties - one with mom, dad and Ben, one in Louisiana, and one with my friends from school. -jm

Baby Brother Turns One

My baby brother turned one in January and here are some pics to prove it. He's walking all over the place, loves blackberries, and is getting really good at "point and fuss" communication tactics to get what he wants. Holla!

Family Snapshot

Too cute not to publish... -cs

The Entertainer

You can almost see the internal monologue Ben's producing: "Ohmygoodness, my sister is so silly. She really is so funny! Ack! That's ridiculous! Ack! She did it again! Oh my, that's funny! Ack! Stop, stop! It's too much! Too much! Ack!" I love to entertain! -jm
